I recently had a 1920s silky oak washstand transformed by Nigel. I knew it was silky oak but the wood had been painted with a dark stain and I had never seen its golden sheen. Nigel was able to bring it back to its former golden glory, replaced the old wheel castors with similar style brass ones as well as providing a piece of plywood as a template for a new top. His quality of workmanship was excellent and I will certainly trust him with other old and treasured pieces.
