Bread box

Bread box - A very sensitive piece which came to me from a lady whose son tragically died in a car accident. He made a pine Bread Box for a school project, just over a decade ago. Great care was taken to re-join and re-glue everything and uncover the place he etched his name. There were a few mistakes in the joints, but I made a deliberate point to not cover them up, and instead restore the work he did. The piece which now sits lovingly in the family kitchen.
